Product usage data such as feature interactions, device and browser type, approximate location, and diagnostic logs that keep the service reliable and secure.

Content you choose to put in Clevis—messages, files, project records, and configuration—processed to operate your workspaces.

How we use information

To provide and improve Clevis, authenticate users, enforce permissions, send service notices, and support customer success.

To protect the platform: detect abuse, investigate incidents, and maintain audit trails for meaningful activity.

To communicate product updates when you ask for them. Marketing communications can be declined where the law requires choice.

Sharing

We use processors that help us host, send email, analyze reliability, and deliver optional integrations. They only process data under instructions that protect it.

We may share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a reorganization, merger, or financing—with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep personal information as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. When a workspace ends or you request deletion, we follow retention and deletion procedures that may include short backup windows.
